When you call a stylist's BookedChair-powered phone number or interact with our service, we may collect:
- Your phone number (caller ID)
- Your name (if provided during the call)
- Service preferences and booking details discussed during the call
- Call duration and timestamps
When stylists sign up for our platform, we collect:
- Business name and contact information
- Service offerings and pricing
- Payment information for subscription billing
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Send booking confirmation links and deposit payment links via SMS
- Connect callers with the appropriate stylist's booking system
- Provide stylists with lead and appointment information
- Send account usage notifications to stylists
- Improve our service and troubleshoot issues
Text Messaging
When you call a stylist's BookedChair number, our AI assistant may send you a text message containing a booking link or deposit payment link. By calling the stylist's number, you consent to receiving this text message. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Reply HELP for assistance.
We will not send more than 3 messages per interaction. Messages are transactional (related to your booking request), not promotional.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share information only with:
- The stylist you are attempting to book with (your name, phone number, and service request)
- Service providers that help us operate our platform (Twilio for messaging, Square for payment processing)
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and secure database storage. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data Retention
We retain call and booking data for as long as the stylist maintains an active BookedChair account. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP
